Robliza de Cojos has just over 200 inhabitants, but it is the largest population cluster of today's journey. Therefore, stock up at the beginning of the stage and carry enough litres of water for the day. If you start walking at dawn, remember that you will have to buy all your supplies the day before. Crossing the Cañada Real is stunning and demanding. You will be surprised by the proximity of wild bulls and, if it rained recently, you will have to take your shoes off to cross the Arganza and Valdemoro streams. After passing St. James' hermitage, approximately halfway through the stage, you will cross a tarmacked road (Provincial Road CV-47). Should you need support facilities, the village of Aldehuela de la Bóveda is only 3 km away, northbound, but this detour will add more than an hour to the stage. The second part of the journey is more pleasant, a slight descent to San Muñoz. Once in the town, you have to look for the hostel installed in the old Doctor's House.
